I am using this blog to discuss and gather ideas on monetizing AIR and Flex applications.
One question I have is whether AIR/Flex developers are actually making money for their creations? I know you can earn a living as a consultant or working for a software company, but what about self-employed folks. Or if you are building a neat RIA app on the side, can you actually make money on that? Most of the AIR/Flex I see out that are neat but most are freeware.
I would love to hear ideas from other plus anyone who want to share their experiences if they have done it. I've got tons of questions on the "HOW" parts too - for example, are you using ads, selling your app, got a website that charges monthly fee, etc.
